Doug Re-enters Independent Music Network Top 10

After an absence of several weeks, Doug Briney's single, "More Than Just a Farm" has returned to the Top 10 on the Independent Music Network's country chart. Thanks to his fans' votes, Doug's song comes in at #10, leaping 8 spots from last week. That is the highest IMN chart appearance for "MTJAF." Please vote again for next week's chart, but this time, we are asking that fans vote for Doug's new single, "It's All Country." Every vote counts...thank you!

According to the IMN website, "It is our goal to help “level the playing field” by getting the best independent artists, bands and their product out to the entire music world." They produce a monthly radio program, which is syndicated on radio stations around the world. Their charts are based on a fan-voting system.

Doug Makes a Pit Stop At KMUZ Radio In Salem, Oregon

On Friday, Doug stopped by the studios at KMUZ 88.5 FM in Salem, Oregon for a conversation with "The Happy Hour" host Kevin Lee.  This was one of the scheduled stops on Doug's "Let's Get Ridin' Motorcycle Tour." According to their website, KMUZ 88.5 FM is a public radio station with a blasting 32 watts of power, KMUZ 88.5 FM is the mid-valley’s voice for those not interested or represented by commercial radio.

KMUZ will serve more than 250,000 listeners in the Turner, Stayton, Salem, Albany, Independence and Monmouth areas.

Doug Enters CMG Radio Top 20, More Chart News

The new charts are out for the week, and it's great news all around for Doug Briney. Doug's second single, the title track from his "It's All Country" CD, enters the top 20 at #19 on CMG Radio Network's Top 100 chart. Doug is also listed as the #7 artist on their Top 200 International Artist chart, ahead of well-known country legends like Charley Pride, Rhonda Vincent and Rosanne Cash! As we reported yesterday, Doug is also topping the Only Lyrics Country Top 100 lyrics chart, and he's #3 on the All Genre chart. Meanwhile, on theIndependent Music Network chart Doug's debut single, "More Than Just a Farm" is holding tight at #18, thanks to his fans' votes. Please vote for Doug for next week's chart. Doug Named CMG Radio's "Male Artist Of The Week;" Tops Only Lyrics Chart

Doug Kicks Off "Let's Get Ridin' Motorcycle Tour" On Sunday

A few weeks ago, we announced Doug Briney's "Let's Get Riding Motorcycle Tour." The tour officially kicks off this Sunday evening, July 22, 2012. Doug will travel more than 3000 miles, one way, from Anchorage, Alaska to Yorba Linda, California. He will stop in Washington and Oregon for performances and radio visits, and he will perform at Ruby's Lounge in Orange, CA on August 1. He is scheduled to arrive back in Anchorage mid-August.

Doug says, "I had the bike and the trailer out for a test run last week. We did about 250 miles, and everything ran beautifully. The trailer sure brings alot of attention, too. People were coming up and checking it out, asking questions. I'm really excited to get out on the road and meet some of the great folks on the west coast. So, 'Let's Get Ridin'!"
